The Communications Associate will report to Communications Team Lead and will be supporting the development and implementation of strategic communications plans of the Foundation.
He /she will contribute to the coordination of all internal and external media activities to promote and maintain the Foundation’s work and brand.

Roles & Responsibilities
The Communication Associate will;
Work with the Team Lead to develop comprehensive communication plans aligned with the Foundation’s goals and programmes workplan for the year.
Measure the impact of communication initiatives and suggest adjustment to strategies as needed.
Define key issues and messaging for policy change initiatives and effectively communicate research findings to target audience.
Cultivate and manage relationships with media outlets.
Ensure coverage of the Foundation’s programmes and events
Support the management of the Foundation’s presence on public and social media platforms.
Develop and monitor implementation of strategies to boost brand awareness.
Conduct market analysis and social media listening activities.
Gather insights for communication strategies.
Plan, organize and execute in-person and digital events.
Ensure alignment with communication objectives of each event.
Manage publication and promotion of the Foundation’s materials
Ensure brand visibility and adherence to procedures.
Enhance brand equity & boost brand awareness by suggesting appropriate advertising campaigns and promotions.
Design and manage media campaigns to reach target audience.
Tailor content and messaging for maximum impact and engagement.
Oversee the Foundation’s presence on all public and social media
Fluency in use of technology such as Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power, Point, Power Business intelligence, Microsoft Team (for team collaboration), Visio (Process mapping tool), Projects (project management tool) and other basic Web browsers and searches.
Execute any other duties shall be assigned from time to time commensurate with the level and nature of the role.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum of an undergraduate degree in Communication, Information Management, Education, Public Relations, Social Sciences or other related fields.
3 - 5 years of relevant experience
Proficiency in digital media platforms and tools
