The Team Lead, Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) will provide strategic, technical, and operational leadership for the design, implementation, and continuous strengthening of the Foundation's monitoring, evaluation, learning, and performance management systems.
The role is responsible for ensuring that all programmes and interventions are guided by robust evidence, measurable outcomes, and credible data that inform decision-making. accountability, learning, and institutional impact.

Roles & Responsibilities
The Monitoring & Evaluation Team Lead will;
Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for the Foundation's Monitoring and Evaluation function, alignment with organisational strategy, programme and governance expectations.
Develop, implement, and periodically review an organisation-wide M&E framework, performance measurement system, and learning agenda covering all programmes and interventions.
Oversee the design and implementation of programme-level M&E plans, including indicators, targets, baselines, endlines, and evaluation schedules.
Lead or supervise baseline studies, midline reviews, endline evaluations, and impact assessments, ensuring methodological rigour and relevance.
Ensure timely tracking of outputs, outcomes, and impact across all programmes, with clear linkages to strategic objectives.
Promote the systematic use of data and evidence to inform programme adaptation, learning. and continuous improvement
Establish and maintain robust data collection, management, and reporting systems that ensure accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and consistency.
Oversee routine data verification, validation exercises, and audits across the programme lifecycle.
Maintain high-quality databases and dashboards that provide a single, consolidated view of programme performance and results.
Lead the synthesis and analysis of programme data for internal management use, donor reporting, annual reports, and board-level updates.
Provide technical guidance and data-driven insights to support programme design, stakeholder engagement, capacity-building initiatives, and strategic planning.
Support leadership and programme teams with evidence required for decision-making, advocacy, and external engagement.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum of Second-Class Upper in Social Sciences, Information Management, Education, Statistics or other related fields.
8 - 10 years' experience required.
