Celebrating Excellence: Aig-Imoukhuede Foundation Alumni Awards

From recognising outstanding reform efforts to welcoming a new cohort into a growing network of changemakers, this year’s Closing Ceremony went beyond graduation.

As part of the Closing Ceremony, we celebrated excellence by honouring four outstanding alumni for their contributions to public sector reform, while also formally inducting the graduating cohort into the AIG PLP alumni community.

Akinbodewa Ngozi Jessinta, Head of Operations at the SERVICOM Office, Presidency, received the Reformer Award for her work on improving organisational effectiveness within SERVICOM. Oladeinde Ebenezer Oluwaseun, Director of Planning, Research and Statistics at Lagos State Health District V, was awarded the Innovator Award for strengthening access to primary healthcare services in the Igbologun community of Amuwo Odofin, Lagos.

Akanimo Usoro Ernest, Technical Assistant to the Deputy Governor for Corporate Services at the Central Bank of Nigeria, received the Young Leader Award for developing DocFlow, a technology-driven document management system, while Timothy Soje, Assistant Chief Inspector of Factories at the Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment, was recognised with the Volunteer Award for his continued commitment to the Foundation’s mission.

The ceremony also marked the formal induction of the graduating cohort into the AIG PLP alumni network, connecting them with a community of peers already working to improve public service delivery across different sectors and countries.
