Public Sector Training: Building Capacity for Sustainable Change

We partnered with the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (OHCSF) to support management training for the Infrastructure Management Department and strategic communications training for the Communications Department. These sessions were designed to build the capacity of the civil servants, leading to improved effectiveness and enhanced public service delivery.

As part of our strategic partnership with OHCSF to advance the Federal Civil Service Strategy and Implementation Plan (FCSSIP 2021-2025), we facilitated capacity building through targeted training programmes for staff of the Infrastructure Management and Communications Departments of OHCSF.

Over four days, participants from the Infrastructure Management Department took part in sessions covering productivity, financial management, project management, public-private Partnerships, and monitoring & evaluation while staff of the Communications Department received training on strategic communications and media management. This will enable them to develop and implement communication programmes that align with the Federal Government’s policies.

These sessions aim to equip public servants with the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles effectively. This initiative reflects our commitment to strengthening public institutions by enhancing the capacity of those who serve.
