Digital Upskilling: Equipping Civil Servants for a Digital Future
Digital transformation is reshaping how the Civil Service delivers and now more than ever, civil servants must build the skills to adapt to this transformation. But how do you encourage them to embrace and adapt to these ongoing digital reforms?
To accelerate the digital transformation of the Civil Service, we partnered with Coronation Group and Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation to deliver digital upskilling training for civil servants. This collaboration ensured that civil servants received both the tools and the practical support they need to build digital confidence at scale.
The programme focused on closing critical digital skill gaps by training public servants to effectively use the Enterprise Content Management System (ECMS) and other essential digital tools. Over 400 participants from the Federal Ministry of Justice (FMOJ), the Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC), and the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment (FMITI) took part in hands-on training sessions designed to translate digital concepts into everyday competence.
By strengthening digital literacy, the programme enhances workflow management, improves information sharing, and equips public servants to contribute meaningfully to the Federal Government’s wider digitalisation agenda.
We are deeply appreciative of Coronation Group whose commitment and sponsorship made this programme possible. Their support reflects a shared belief in the importance of building a digitally empowered Civil Service that can deliver lasting institutional impact
